Sketch of horses on both the front side and reverse side of this pencil on tan paper which was drawn 1876-1880, and is stamped with the monogram T-L on the bottom left side. This drawing had been in the collection of the late Baron de Chollet of Fribourg and has exhibited in New York, Wildenstein & Co., Inc., Degas’ Racing World, A Loan Exhibition for the Benefit of The National Museum of Racing, Saratoga, March-April 1968

This piece was restored in 1991 by Conservation of Art on Paper, Inc and is in absolutely pristine condition with museum quality custom framing which allows you to view both sides. A copy of the restoration report is available upon request.
